Don't Miss Out! The ANREP 2026 Proposal Deadline is Fast Approaching! |
Hello ANREP Community,
We're excited about the upcoming conference and want to remind you that the Call for Proposals for the ANREP 15th Biennial Conference is open for submission! This is your chance to be a part of "Confluence of Knowledge" and help shape the agenda for our premier event in Wilmington, North Carolina.
The clock is ticking on our Call for Proposals! We want to hear your unique insights and experiences, whether you're a seasoned professional or a student. Our goal is to have a wide variety of presentation topics to make this year's technical program our most diverse and impactful one yet. Your expertise is the key to achieving this. We especially encourage students to present their work, as their fresh perspectives are invaluable to our community. We're working hard to make this conference accessible for everyone. The conference committee is dedicated to keeping registration costs as low as possible. Additionally, ANREP offers scholarships to help members attend, ensuring that financial limitations don't prevent you from participating in this valuable event.
This is your call to action! All proposals are due by OCTOBER 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time). Don't wait—this deadline is firm! Presenters will be notified of the decision on their proposals by early November 2025. Conference registration is set to open in early December. Ready to submit? Head over to the conference website for all the details and to upload your proposal: go.ncsu.edu/anrep2026.
We still need volunteers for reviewing proposals and seeking sponsorships! Please volunteer here. We can't wait to see your incredible submissions and chart the future of our field together! Warmly, The ANREP 2026 Conference Committee |

| 2025 ANREP Gold Award Winner Save Your Seedlings for New Jersey’s Sake! |
New Jersey has a severe future tree deficit. There are not enough unharmed native seedlings and saplings naturally growing to replace older trees as they are lost over time. Readers are called to action in their own yards to help reforest New Jersey. They are taught step-by-step how to naturally promote native seedling germination, perform accurate identification to prevent invasive seedling growth, build wire mesh barriers to protect seedlings from deer browse and buck rub, and how to steward their young trees by improving soil health.
