ANREP 2026: "Confluence of Knowledge" in Wilmington!
Get ready for the ANREP 2026 Biennial Conference, set for May 12-15, 2026, in beautiful Wilmington, North Carolina! The conference theme, "Confluence of Knowledge: Charting the Future of Natural Resource Extension," promises a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences. This is your premier opportunity to connect with fellow Extension professionals, expand your expertise, and forge invaluable partnerships through educational keynotes, breakout sessions, tours, poster session, awards, and networking events.
Call for Proposals and Volunteers!
We want YOU to shape the conference! The call for proposals opens in July 2025, inviting natural resource Extension professionals and students (undergraduate and graduate) from all disciplines and career levels to submit. Your knowledge is crucial for a diverse and impactful technical program.
The committee also needs your help! We're seeking volunteers for abstract reviews and sponsorship outreach. Reviewers will assess presentation and poster abstracts (10-15 minutes per review) beginning in the fall of 2025, while sponsorship seekers will help secure funding to reduce conference costs beginning in late summer 2025. Both roles require a few hours over several weeks, with full details provided before commitment.

Bees in the Woods |
The Bees in the Woods video series is an engaging and science-based educational resource that empowers landowners and managers. It highlights the critical role of native bees in Oregon's managed forests and offers practical strategies to enhance pollinator habitat through common forestry activities such as timber harvest, prescribed fire, and invasive species management. With over 600 bee species in the state, this 15-video, peer-reviewed series has been a game-changer, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback with over 2,000 views and inclusion in partner publications like Bees in Managed Forests, published by the Oregon Forest Resources Institute. Its innovative approach, clear educational value, and strong impact make it an invaluable resource for native bee and forest management education.
