Do you have experience in starting a "Master" program? We'd love to hear about your lessons learned!
Members of National Extension Wildfire Initiative (NEWFI) will be exploring the potential development of a Master Burner, or similar program. We would love to hear from anyone who runs or has developed a Master program other than Master Gardener (e.g., Naturalist, Woodland Owner, etc.) in your area. In addition, North Carolina State University (NCSU) Extension Forestry will be developing a report to synthesize the existing Master programs around the country. If you have an interesting Master program that is unique or is not a national program and of which we may be unaware of its existence, we'd love to hear from you too! Please contact Jennifer Fawcett at with your insights.
