Hello ANREP!
We're excited to introduce our new monthly newsletter format, designed to offer a more comprehensive experience for readers. With this new approach, we're aiming to make staying connected with all things ANREP more engaging and convenient. Our revamped newsletter will be monthly and include information and articles from the national level as well a regional information provided by Regional Representatives. We want this newsletter to shine a spotlight on the work we are doing, a chance to share stories and insights, resources, updates about events such as JCEP and NIFA and retirements. For those with busy schedules, this newsletter will provide quick summaries and bite-sized updates, ensuring you're always in the loop. Submissions should be submitted using this form by the first Friday of the month. Also, if you are interested in serving on the communications committee we are always looking for people!
Best,
Sarah Havens ANREP Communications Committee Chair

The year is flying by fast! It was great seeing everyone in Hershey, PA earlier this month at our biennial conference! I enjoyed getting to chat with many of you about what’s happening across the country and the exciting projects and programs underway. Special shout out to Jennifer Fetter and the Penn State conference planning committee – they did a fantastic job hosting the conference this year. If you are looking for leadership opportunities, we are currently searching for an Extension Leadership Conference (ELC) Representative. The role includes: -
Serving on national ELC planning committee for 2 years
- Participating in periodic Zoom calls
- Assisting with some detailed aspects of the national conference planning
- Representing and promoting ANREP at PILD conferences and other events
-
Assisting in running the ELC conference each year of the term
- Coordinating with and updating the ANREP board on a regular basis
- Assisting with publicizing ELC
If interested or would like to learn more, don’t hesitate to reach out to myself or a board member!
Also, make sure to take advantage of the features of the ANREP website. There you can sign up for committees, initiatives, post job announcements, communicate with your colleagues or chapter members, renew your membership, and register for events.
So, with that, have a happy summer season!
